Ice Age

Wow. Climate change. So funny that the impending ice age—ie global cooling—was all the rage thirty years ago. Shouldn't that balance out the current concern over global warming? Globarl warming + global cooling = Global balancedness! Right?
Now, I'm not a scientist and I'm full willing to accept Al Gore's musings until something better comes along (and, when it comes to science, it often does, so I keep an open mind) but I do agree fully that it's absolutely foolish to use up al our fossil fuels and not make some signficant switches to renewable sources of energy just as quickly as we can. Even if global warming turns out to fade within a matter of months, we still need to wane ourselves off oil completely, or as much as we can, and stop letting our financial interest in the Middle East drive us to war.
