Will the GOP win any future elections?

Post by Niall_İsxaqov »

I am a bit sceptical.

The demography is changing.. GOP's most solid voter base, Non-Hispanic Whites are decreasing in number, while the population of minorities are exploding.

Just look at the 2008 results:

Non Hispanic Whites: 55% for GOP, 43% for DP.
Hispanics: 31% for GOP, 67% for DP.
Blacks: 2% for GOP, 96% for DP.

Now the current ethnic composition is 64% Non-Hispanic White, 17% Hispanic, 13% Black and 6% Others. And in 2020, non-Hispanic Whites will constitute a minority of the population.

I can't even think of any situation in which GOP wins any of the future elections. May be they will have one last chance if Arnold Schwarzenegger contests for them in 2012. But as we all know, he was born in Austria, and since not eligible to contest. Beginning of One party rule?

There is a good chance of GOP winning the elections in 2012, especially if the economic recession worsens. Not all of the minorities vote for Dems. Hispanics like Cubans and Puerto Ricans are more like 50:50 divided. Also, the Asian support for GOP is increasing. Take that in to account along with the fact that the population of New England and California liberals are decreasing more steeply than that of Southern Baptists and Mormons, who are the main voting blocks for GOP. If Mitt Romney or some one with a solid economic and financial background runs for GOP in 2012, there is a very good chance of GOP winning the elections.
Enough of (ZA)Nu Labor. BNP is the only real alternative.
